ADOPTION FORUM, INC.

Our purpose is to provide emotional support to all members of the adoption triad: adoptees, birthparents and adoptive parents and to invite support from adoption professionals and legislators.
Adoption Forum, Inc. works to educate the public by providing speakers, an annual conference and presenting testimony at legislative hearings.
Adoption Forum offers monthly support group meetings.  Those who choose to become members of our organization receive a quarterly newsletter, telephone counseling, and are entered on a database that is used for search assistance and shared with other Pennsylvania support groups for search purposes.
Adoption Forum, established in 1973, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization known throughout the Delaware Valley as an advocate for access to records for adult adoptees.  We function as a group of members united with the common concern to promote open and honest communication in adoption.  The Forum does not provide treatment, endorse and particular adoption agency or derive benefit from any referrals.

Adoption Forum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1973, provides emotional support and a safe environment to all members of the adoption triad: adult adoptees, birthparents and adoptive parents.  Our organization promotes the shared belief that adoptees have a right to know their origins, while remaining a “forum” for discussion on all adoption issues.
Our Mission is to:
•    facilitate support group chapters
•    actively provide search assistance
•    educate through speaker’s bureau
•    provide education for professionals and legislators
